Sleeping is an activity, not free time.

I got back from my 4 hours class and slept. Suddenly I got a call, it was Abby.

Me- Hello
Abby-Eh are you home?
Me- Yea
Abby- What you doing?
Me-Sleeping?
Abby- Oh! So you free the whole afternoon?
Me- Nooo, I'M BUSY! I'M SLEEPING!
Abby- Why you so grouchy? Blablabla.... (and goes on about how grouchy I am)

HAHA i thought this convo was funny! But at that time, I was kind of grouchy. I said I was sleeping and she asked me whether I was free this afternoon.. What the heck was that about? HAHA Then when I went down to open the door for Cass in my boxers, there was abby outside the lift! HAHAHA i heard i look like a zombie coming out of the lift. HEHE

Things change when the environment change

As one of my journey ends,
Another begins, I'm glad to say that after being here for several days, I'm finally getting the fact that I'm in a whole other country in my head. Though at times i still purposely make myself jet lag. Like how i would think its Brunei time instead of Brissie time.

My first day in the city and I found Easy way.. Oh this just reminds me of home!

My bus rides, oh! over here my only source of transportation is the bus. And I only know how to get from St Lucia to the city and Garden's point to Kelvin Grove. The rest of the route I'm stil very blur.
Nothing reminds me of Brunei more than this flag! After all I did stay in Brunei my whole life, you can't expect me to adapt that fast! =( I'm not superman.

Oh I'm soooo not satisfied with my ID card, the day before I did my Id card I did not have enough of sleep so the next morning i look like as if I was dying, you should've seen those eyebags. DAMN IT WAS HUGE.

So as i was sitting down there ready to smile, the lady took an unusually long time to look for my info so i kinda got lazy and when she said "1, 2, 3 SMILE" I was like "errrr......" and then my face turned out like THAT.

The first shirt i bought from Brissie. The brand is UGLY LITTLE BITCH!!

I've been staying with Abby and Cassy for the past few days. They live in the city so everything is pretty easy for me. I kinda know the roads but thats if you dont take a detour. I only know how to go straight! Tomorrow night, i'll be moving to my own accomadation in a suburb, Taringa. YEA!!!! i can't wait to have my OWN room.. I wanna stick things on my wall =)

Thats what Brissie's all about, THE CITY!

I miss... all the photo sessions.

Anyways, class starts tomorrow for me. My first lecture, omg i dont know how i feel.. Excited? I guess. Today, i met up with my brother to do the accomodation stuff and then walked around a bit. He showed me the place where they sell cheap DVDs and CDs, pretty awesome!

OMG class starts tomorrow. Assignments, Study! OMG i haven't gone to class for almost 3 months. Damn! I have to adjust now.

Bus 421

Hey guys, miss me yet?

I am not settled yet, as I can't move in to my accomodation yet until maybe Thursday. So i'm currently a nomad moving from one place to another. Heh!? I have been here for almost 3 days. I have actually accomplish quite alot in this three days. I am getting used to the public transport life. I sat on the bus, and city cat (a boat thingy) but I'm yet to go on a train.

I have also explored the city a bit. I walked around and I am starting to remember some places. Cassy taught me which bus I should get on from wherever to wherever.

This place is awesome, but there is no where better than home. Maybe its because, I just arrived here and still have not met people on my own yet. I am only here for 3 days, give me a break!

Today, Uni starts so I went to campus to enroll and pick my timetables. I think I am the LAST to enroll so my classes are so damn sucky. I have full day class on Wednesday, one class on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Crazy right! I have four classes on Wednesday.. FOUR, FOUR, I SAID FOUR! haha

Brisbane, Hmmmm, Brisbane is filled with white people. Especially my campus, I think i only see 30% Asian.. It's crazy! You know how they say, Melbourne and Perth is filled with Asians, well not here!

Food here, its okay but its very expensive! This afternoon I ate Japanese Curry and that plate cost me AUD $8.80 and you know how i never finish my food, well I didnt finish it! So expensive! Stuff here is super duper wuper expensive!

Today, I also open a bank account- ALL BY MYSELF! So damn proud of myself..

Hopefully I get to move in on Thursday, HOPEFULLY my brother gets the key by then. I really want to move in to a place on my own so I can design my room. HAHA My class on thurs is at 4-6pm so i'm thinking if i should move in before or after. AHHH! If before then I have to come back to the city and then to Kelvin Grove, if after it might be too late. Coonfuseee!!!!

Ah well, I'm done for now. I'm missing the new bunch, maybe because I hang out with them everyday and suddenly I am in a different atmosphere, time zone and I don't see them. Totally weird! I don't even see my regular friends everyday, except Tracy but she ain't regular (she's too special to be regular ;) HAHA) BUT yea, I see them everyday.. So, its weird NOT!!

Well, I should go now.

You cannot imagine how badly I wanted the aeroplane to U-turn but then again, thats impossible. I reached Brissie and the first person I saw is non other than my fellow Bruneian, Abby the butthead. She was nice enough to pick me up from the airport, but everybody knows with intention (I have her new phone). I keep going on about how we're in the wrong country. "We're in the FREAKIN wrong country!!!'

I miss home and all my friends back home. Since I can't go home anytime soon so... I'm just going to enjoy my life to the fullest. I'm now living with Becky and Cait and will be moving in to my own house with my brother on thursday. And classes starts on monday but I havent enrolled yet so I'm going to campus on Monday to enroll.

The airport scene

The airport scene was pretty but up to the end, I just could not hold it in any longer. Thank you friends for making it to the airport, eventhough some came super last minute, but I know you guys have the heart.

I still hate airports.

Funny story, she came after I went in. So just for her, I came back out to take a photo and hug her goodbye before I had to go back in again. It was sad! I was alreadyy crying. So this last photo, must be posted!
