The Day at the Ongs!

Went over to Desa Residence at about 12pm and met up with Sarah. We were supposed to go for lunch at Taurean's but MAMA Ong rang up the driver and called us to go to aunty Peck's where my mum and every other mums are there. Like Tracy's, Evelyn's, Ying's and more. Not to mention Ying and Evelyn was there too so we made our way there and YES, indeed there was good food and Aunty Peck is famous for her cakes and i absolutely LOVE her pear and white chocolate cake.

Lastly this is Japanese orange cheesecake, the difference is it is very light-not filling.

That night i went to the US 231st independence day party hosted by the embassy in the empire ballroom. It was pretty cool and very GRAND! With lots of BIG people there but I was with my mama, she always goes to functions like these so i suppose she's used to it! Met up with MAMA ONG and hung with her for a while. Its so cool looking at all the state flags and etc. The food there was VERY American, which i like! HAHA Set up a meeting with the US embassy Education advisor "JUST FOR A CHAT!" =)

Some of the flags but this is only in one corner, there's a few more other corners. Pretty cool!
